Establish Group
Our understanding about this project is that we need to complete a Webquest on a wiki. We understand a Webquest to be a virtual lesson online with links to websites. We are using www.wikispaces.com to host our Webquest. Webquests have five basic components. These are: introduction, task, process, resources, evaluation and teacher's page. These pages can come under numerous different names as long as they highlight the main points needed in a Webquest. Our project will be based on English and Society and Environment outcomes. We wanted to incorporate open ended tasks into the project so the students have the opportunity to choose and apply themselves to each task in the whole project.

Project Management Plan
The plan that we did follow to complete our project entailed:
The use of class time to cooperate and collaborate on all aspects of the project.
Delegation of duties:
Kaleshia- Home page, Introduction page (Video), Evaluation page (Rubric)
Katie- Teachers page (Forward planning doc), Start process pages.
Both- Brainstorm (inspiration), Process pages (Weeks 1,2,3 and 4), Resources.
Because our class presentation was early on in the semester we worked on our project in class time and had a couple of sessions were we both met up to complete some of the project.
Overall we both worked together on all aspects of the web quest and enjoyed the team learning experience.

How the learning sequence is introduced.
We decided that we didn’t want to just have the overall task written down for the students to read and decipher what was required of them. Using an idea shown to us in our ICT class we came to the conclusion we were going to use xtranormal.com to create a movie. This movie would explain the overall assignment to the student in a different and fun way.

Learning processes.
Our assignment is based on social constructivist. Each child brains storms about their country and at the end they each present to the class in an oral matter, engaging students into discussion of the different countries of the world.

Resources:
Curriculum Framework for Western Australia.
WA Syllabus.

Reflection:
Students will reflect on their presentation while answering questions from fellow students and the teacher during the presentation. Students will also reflect on their assignment by answering a reflections worksheet.
